Overnight Family Teacher

Equine Counselor

The Marsh Foundation is seeking a full-time Equine Specialist to join our equine-assisted learning program for at-risk youth. This position provides an array of mental health services as assigned using a trauma informed, family focused approach. This position will consist of delivering evidence-based therapy while incorporating equine-assisted techniques. This individual is expected to collaborate with case managers, barn manager, and equine specialists. Under the direction of the Clinical supervisor, the counselor will provide training and direction to the QMHS and Equine Specialist assigned to their cases.  This individual must have bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Master’s degree is preferred) and be licensed by Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, or MFT Board at minimum.

Equine Specialist

The Marsh Foundation is seeking a full-time, Equine Specialist to join our team in delivering impactful Equine-Assisted Learning programs for at-risk youth. Our programs combine therapeutic approaches with hands-on experiences with horses to promote personal growth, emotional well-being, and positive life skills development in vulnerable youth. As an Equine Specialist, you will play a crucial role in guiding and assisting clients during equine interactions, ensuring the safety and well-being of our therapy animals, and supporting the emotional and behavioral growth of program participants. You will assist in the care and management of therapy horses, collaborate with program staff and licensed therapists to develop engaging Equine-Assisted Learning activities, and maintain accurate records of participant progress and horse care protocols. We are seeking candidates with a minimum of three years of experience working with horses, preferably in equine-assisted therapy or educational settings. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.

Full Time Counselor

The Marsh Foundation is seeking a full-time, therapist/counselor for its on-campus group home program. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adolescents in individual and group therapy settings. Experience with risk assessment, diagnosis, trauma and sexual offender treatment preferred. License from the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board required. Program encourages and supports clinician development and ongoing training. The therapist is responsible for providing intensive treatment, crisis intervention, and advocacy to adolescents and families. Therapist is responsible for becoming familiar with the group home treatment model and coordinating with all members of the treatment team to achieve targeted outcomes.
