THE MARSH FOUNDATION provides humane, effective behavioral health care to children, adolescents and their families in a variety of settings and modalities. From its beautiful campus situated in rural northwest Ohio, The Marsh Foundation has three residence halls allowing specialized treatment programs for children and adolescents based upon age and needs.

Our primary modality is the Teaching-Family model of care. The basic tenants of which are a three part system of care involving extensive training, 24 hour a day seven days a week supervision/support and regular evaluation of services for the quality of treatment being provided by the direct care and support staff.  The Marsh Foundation’s training and supervision staff average over eight and a half years of experience in working with children, adolescent and their families.

Our services include: specialized and regular group homes, semi-independent living, foster care, treatment foster care, sex offender specialized foster homes, group and individual counseling on site, residential stabilization program for adjudicated male adolescent sex offenders, home based family services, and family wraparound services.

Referrals for our programs are accepted from any source but most frequently from juvenile court systems, various county Department of Jobs and Family Services agencies, as well as individual families.

The Marsh Foundation Programs give youths and their families the opportunity to learn the basic skills needed to live successfully as a family, and for the youths to achieve vocationally and academically enabling them to become productive members of the communities in which they live.

  MENTORS WANTED         MENTORS WANTED 

 

Did you know that with as little as three hours a week of your time you could save a child’s life? Statistics show that a significant positive relationship with an adult is the biggest factor in the success of a child. You can make that difference. The Marsh Foundation, a residential facility for youth is looking for Mentors to spend 3-6 hours a week, building a lasting relationship with a child who has little family involvement. Be a friend. Do you have an adolescent who is failing, frequently suspended or absent from school, in danger of dropping out, in trouble with the law or just generally out of your control?

The Marsh Foundation wants to help!

The Marsh Foundation offers a variety of services for children and families, including group homes on a campus setting, foster care, and clinical services. In our group homes we serve males and females ages 8-17. In foster care we serve males and females ages birth-18. Also available is a specialized program for adjudicated male adolescent sex offenders ages 11-17. 

Our clinical division offers individual counseling, group therapy, family therapy, and home-based services. The on-site school is available for grades 2-12.

Treatment Foster Parents Wanted!

 Couples and single parents wanted. If you live within 150 miles of our Van Wert, Ohio campus, call now to see how to become a foster parent for children in need. Complete training, 24 hour on-call consultation and substantial reimbursement for those who qualify.
