Marsh Foundation Wraps Up Summer School

VAN WERT, Ohio – The Marsh Foundation School recently concluded its six week summer school session for 2010. The summer session had many highlights, among those a field trip to the Toledo Zoo. Students and staff enjoyed a fun-filled day viewing and learning about different animals.

A celebration was also held at the conclusion of summer school. It was held to honor two students who earned the remainder of their credits over the past six weeks and received their high school diploma.

Other summer activities are still going strong, including the equestrian program. The students will showcase their riding at a horseshow on Aug. 13.

Serving children and families since 1922, The Marsh Foundation is a not-for-profit children’s services agency that provides behavioral treatment in a variety of settings. Services include group homes, treatment and family foster care, an intensive treatment program and independent living. Located in Van Wert, Ohio, the organization’s group homes are licensed for up to 30 children ages 7 – 17, offers an on-campus school for grades 2 – 12 and provides a variety of clinical services to group home residents, foster children and community members.
